Incredible heating capacity for larger, newer homes.
With a fresh air intake this thing heats my high ceiling 3800sqft modern farmhouse that is super tight with spray foam and rockwool insulation. Paired with a 28’ chimney this thing drafts great and the top down air intake is excellent for keeping the burn hot with little smoke. No need to spend $5k on some designer stove if function is what you are after. The quality is superb and steel is thick! My top baffle was cracked from shipping and SBI took care of it right away.

The stove looks great, haven't got it piped up yet but so far the quality seems good. I have two complaints however. First, the rigid firescreen I ordered with the stove is not the correct size and doesn't fit... I have double checked and it's the correct part number. I have attempted to get help through customer service and I can't get a reply. Second, the back panel that shipped with the stove was too small, and I cannot attach it. It must be for another smaller stove model. I will keep attempting to get in touch with customer service but so far no luck.

Neat things happening
Whoa Nelly! Wood burns in this! It is able to handle the extreme expansion of the combustible gasses expelled from the wood species that have been taken down due to death or unsightly appearance. This firebox punches wood in the face and then eats it. While it is sitting there, waiting to be fed, you can feel the excitement of the woodstove to please its new homeowners. It's almost as if it is begging for a kiss at 450⁰ F but don't do it. It's a trap!
I like the stove. It burns wood and makes heat. The price was really good too. The End.
