We got the FW2900 on a deal before tariffs became a thing. Free shipping and curbside service included. This stove has been a work horse. It sits inside of an old brick and mortar fireplace that was built too big to be efficient. It is essentially being used as a insert. The FW2900 is efficient and it will thoroughly heat our 1600sqft home. We performed our burn in outside before moving inside of the home as the paint does give off a strong odor when it comes to temperature the first few times. We purchased the 6" 25' flex liner and install was a breeze with the flex liner. Originally purchased fixed stove pipe at a local hardware store, but returned as it was too cumbersome to use. I ordered the wrong flex liner and MFP was able to sell me a single part that I needed to complete the install. It was not sold as a single part; however, they were helpful in getting me that single part even though it was not sold by itself. Overall, very pleased with MFP. I chose MFP knowing they are a large manufacturer and replacement parts are easy to come by down the road. We added the optional blower motor and it is very quiet. Support has been great as well. I looked at other foreign (Chinese) made stoves for cheaper; however, I felt a Canadian made stove was worth the few extra $$. I would by from MFP again. Check the reviews at century heating . com.
