These stoves are better than the brands sold in Home Depot, Lowes, tractor supply (think US stove) and reasonably priced. Problem is that at least on the 3500 model, the ratio of air wash air to afterburner air is wrong, and causes the glass to get brown on the bottom 2/3rds while staying crystal clear on the top 1/3rd by default. I was convinced I was doing something wrong even though I grew up with wood stoves, after making sure the wood was bone dry and making sure the draft was good, leaving the air all the way open, calling up century tech support, posting online, endless experiments I thought I might never be able to get the whole glass to stay clear. It looked like the air wash was only reaching the top 1/3rd of the glass. Turns out that theres a design flaw, if you want clean glass you have to either plug the holes in the front smoke tube (guy from SBI tech support recommended small rivets) or just reduce the amount of air going to all of the smoke tubes. This requires going into the pedestal of the stove and using something like foil to block part of the rectangular air inlet for the afterburner. Basically, by default the afterburners get so much air that they disturb the air curtain being produced by the air wash system at the top of the glass before it reaches the bottom. Since addressing this design flaw (DIY, which I shouldn't have to do), my glass stays crystal clear. This stove should not ship with an incorrectly designed afterburner system, if that issue gets fixed I would give it 5 stars.
