Record prices for heating oil are expected for this winter
According to the latest projections from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), released Oct. 12 2011, Americans can expect to pay record prices for heating oil this winter.
A report, titled, "Short-Term Energy and Winter Fuels Outlook," predicts "households heating primarily with heating oil to spend an average of about $193 (8 percent) more this winter than last winter as a result of a 10 percent increase in prices and a 1 percent decrease in consumption."
